(Last Updated On: April 27, 2019)

Hardware wallets are the best means of securing coins even if your computer has any type of malware, it does not simply care. Hardware wallet store coins offline without any connection with the internet or external cables connected to any devices.

Keep key is an example of another amazing piece of Hardware wallet capable of storing Bitcoin, Dash, LiteCoin, Doge, NameCoin, Testnet but at the moment the User Interface is only available for Bitcoin.

The Design

The very first and amazing feature is the design of KeepKey which truly makes it better than Trezor T or Ledger Nano S in terms of Design. The seal on top indicates the authenticity of the product.

Inside the Box, there is the device, USB cable some cards and a leather case for the device. This amazing display of products really makes a different comparison to Ledger Nano S or Trezor T.

Setting UP

The setup is really easy and simple, Keep Key has an official Chrome extension, you need two extensions one for wallet and other is for connecting keep key with chrome.

After setting up you will get inside chrome extension from there you can send or receive coins easily and the device alters the key combinations (PIN) from spying and the chrome interface is really easy to use.

The device wasn’t really worthy when it came out with a $240 price tag as many Trezor T and Ledger Nano S devices could be bought in the same tag, but as of now, the device is available for $99 same price of Trezor.

The functionality might not be convenient but the design of Keep Key is truly apart from any other hardware wallet available, it may update its features as Bitcoin at the moment can only be stored with Keep Key, but overall Hardware wallets are best for security as they are offline and can be used to store big amounts without any hesitation or risk factors.
