Luno Review

(Last Updated On: April 27, 2019)

Luno formerly knew as BitXis an online exchange and a wallet service company based in London since 2013 has been working around the globe. This exchange is relatively smaller and is usually known for its mobile-based trading and wallet application.

Luno currently supports only Bitcoin and Ethereum, the website claims to be the worlds most trusted and easiest online exchange and indeed is easy to use and the exchange and wallet features are both extended but there are not many coins to select from except for BTC and ETH.

The user interface is pretty amazing and provides easy sign-up and easy to navigate interface which can be easy for newcomers. There is always a feature of depositing via Bank account or credit/debit card and the user is allowed to send, receive or store coins without getting into a trading it provides a stand-alone wallet as well.

But one of the amazing features I came across was the learning portal which is made for newbies and provides some basic glossary and terms required to start trading.

The Market trading page includes charts and all other things that make up a cryptocurrency exchange.

Once again it was easy to navigate and I did not come across with any hesitations surfing through Luno.

Mobile App

Due to its clean User Interface, the Luno Mobile applications have received 4.4-star ratings on both App and Play Store which have made Luno one of the most regarded mobile application for any cryptocurrency and again that is not it, Luno mobile app has a feature of buying Bitcoin and Ethereum using their mobile application with Credit card or Bank transfer.

The mobile app also provides a wallet type feature and does not charge to send, store or receive coins, making it a great choice for a wallet.

Luno has been around for a while but has not made any big reputation or market cap, but for one thing, it is an amazing platform for newcomers and for those who want to use wallet features for mobile applications.

The exchange is relatively low in volumes and cannot be compared to major exchanges but for those who need to buy major currencies with fiat (Credit Cards, Bank Transfers i.e) Luno maybe a good choice for you.
