MyEtherWallet has got the user-friendly interface and you can easily make an account to start storing Ethereum & Ethereum Classic Coins. Just like blockchain.info, you have provided send & receive options on the pageĀ from where send ETH coins by putting in ETH address.

It also interacts with hardware wallets that work offline like in my previous articles I told you about ledger nano s and trezor that can store VEN and TRX that are ERC-20 tokens. It has a simple UI but even yet a problem exists there are help desks and forums that can provide ease to you and tell you how to secure your wallets information.

Security:

Security is a problem specially online but compared to other MyEtherWallet is pretty much secure .When you open an account it will ask you to backup or save your password and private key.It has got wide range of options including extensions and Hardware wallets.

MyEtherWallet has got a browser extension called MetaMask you may have read it about it in my previous articles also it is a extension available on chrome,Firefox, opera etc, Metamask does not require login and saves your tokens on your computer it is compatible with mew and even protects user from accessing fraudulent cryptocurrency website and fishy malware content. It has got etheraddresslookup which tells metamask which site is black listed.

MyEtherWallet works with famous hardware wallets like ledger nano s and trezor when it comes to safety officially hardware wallets are the best when if comes to coin safety they are expensive but perfect if you have got big bucks with you. Both of these hardware wallets are capable of storing more then one currencies and almost every alternative coins and ERC-20 tokens.

Conclusion

That’s it guys according to us MyEtherWallet is the best if it comes to safety of your etherum or ERC-20 Tokens it has got mostly positive feedback from users due to its vast options and security status another reason is because it is open source and free you can also store VeChain and Tron which are both rising ERC-20 tokens and have now gained fame. Most of the security depends on user point of view if users maintain strong backup so there should be no risk of losing money. So from us it is a Yes and Yes situation.
