This summer’s narrow-range trading in Bitcoin has analysts already focusing on a potentially tumultuous conclusion to 2024. Rob Nelson recently convened a roundtable with industry experts to discuss price targets, which sparked an interesting discussion.
Experts Weigh In on Bitcoin’s Potential Surge
The host of CryptosRUs, George Tung, declared with confidence that there is “a really good shot” that Bitcoin will surpass $100,000 before the end of the year. Gav Blaxberg, CEO of WOLF Financial, greeted his optimism with cautious enthusiasm, offering a more cautious aim of $80,000 but still remaining bullish. Blaxberg said, “Maybe I’m a little bit more conservative, but I like George’s optimism.”
Rob Chang, CEO of Gryphon Digital Mining, contributed to the conversation by bringing up an ambitious viewpoint, saying that $100,000 is “definitely doable.” He continued, predicting that, depending on market circumstances.
Bitcoin would potentially reach “125K, 150K.” Chang noted that given Bitcoin’s past performance, such an increase is achievable even though these figures may seem high.
These estimates are in line with those of Sean Farrell of Fundstrat, who correctly forecasted changes in the price of Bitcoin in 2023 and anticipates a further increase in 2024.
Each expert discussed the uncertain but exciting future of Bitcoin with a blend of cautionary optimism.
